Chiropractic Care at Salem Chiropractic Center

The Doctors at Salem Chiropractic Center, P.C. are graduates of Palmer College of Chiropractic and are licensed in this state and are nationally certified. They provide the utmost individualized personal care to all their patients. The office is well established on Stiles Rd for 18 years and has developed a wonderful working relationship with many other healthcare providers in the community.

They provide basic as well as comprehensive Chiropractic care based on your individual need and condition(s). Standard examination procedures to include orthopedic and neurological testing are provided.

In addition various testing devices maybe used such as:

  • FETS (muscle testing)
  • Range of Motion (utilizing dual inclinometers)
  • SEMG testing (surface EMG) to evaluate muscle spasms
  • Thermal Scanning System for subluxations
  • Algometer (pain measurement)
  • Pulse Wave Profiler
  • BMI (body mass index) evaluations to determine weight, body fat percentage, visceral fat level and skeletal muscle mass.

X-rays of the spine and extremities are done in the office utilizing digital x-ray equipment.

Outside testing can be ordered at Salem Radiology, Merrimack Valley MRI and Lab Corp when clinically necessary.

Various techniques are utilized to correct spinal misalignments (Subluxations) to include manual, mechanical and drop adjustments. In addition to spinal corrections, the Doctors are trained in extremity adjustments.

 Chiropractic Equipment

All of the treatment rooms are equipped with top of the line Dynatronic therapy machines that provide multiple Electric Muscle Stimulation modalities, Ultrasound therapy and Laser therapy. In addition we offer Hot/Cold therapies, Longitudinal and Intersegmental tractions.

Myofascial release techniques can compliment spinal corrections and be provided as well as services from our licensed Massage Therapists. Rehabilitation (neuromuscular re-education) is provided on site utilizing synergy bands, Nexerciser and fixed weight units. Non-surgical disc decompression therapy is provided through Spine Med for those who suffer from disc problems, sciatica and upper extremity pain.

Foot problems are evaluated to include biomechanical analysis utilizing Foot Levelers Associate Platinum high tech foot scanners. Custom orthotics and heel lifts are available.

Nutritional counseling, medical food plans and supplements from Metagenics are offered. Braces, supports and supplies are available for your needs.

We offer senior citizen discounts, family adjustment discounts, prepaid adjustment packages as well as discounted prepaid therapies only packages.

Walk-in services are available for established patients.
