This low back pain has been a nagging problem for over the past 5-6 years. I re-aggravated my back in December, 2009, but this time it was to a point where I could hardly walk. I went for an MRI and found that I had a herniated disc and a bulging disc at L4/L5.
Dr. Glenn spoke to me about what my options were, which were Cortizone injection, SpineMED, or surgery. My opinion was that the shot masks this issue; the surgery was too invasive and not guaranteed. SpineMED seemed like the next best step prior to surgery if it did not work. I have done the SpineMED treatments for 7 weeks now and I am feeling great. Not 100% yet, but I can say that it is worth a try before you place a metal plate in your back, limiting your flexibility. I would recommend this for anyone with a similar issue.

I came to SpineMed with a lot of pain when standing, sitting and walking too long. After weeks of SpineMed decompression therapy, I am able to do all of the above with no discomfort. It is very relaxing and painless. I can listen to music or watch my favorite movie while having the treatment. I have actually dozed off. I would recommend it to my friends. The staff have been just like family. I hope to be coming back, off and on, if needed. I will miss everyone.

My name is Maria DeJesus and I have almost completed the SpineMed Decompression Therapy. I have suffered for many years with chronic pain. It was this pain that drove me to seek help by having the therapy done. After six weeks I am happy to report that my pain has completely disappeared. Every morning as I drove to work I was in pain.
